For the first indoors event of this year’s Henley Living Advent Calendar, the audience were treated to a winter wonderland by the host venue, the River & Rowing Museum. Having congregated in the foyer, where they were treated to warm mince pies courtesy of the night’s partner, Chocolate Theatre Café, the audience were then greeted by event organiser Richard Rodway and beckoned through the (advent) doors to the riverside function room...

Barbershop Quartet “Tonyx” performed at the Angel on the Bridge pub on night 2 of the Living Advent. The large audience were treated to mulled wine by the hosts, and turkey baps courtesy of the nights partners Copas Turkeys and Lawlors Bakers. The audience were treated to acapella versions of “Ding Dong Merrily On High”, “Silent Night” and their own reworking of Mr Sandman, now “Mr Santa”...

After an intro from cavalier attired councillor David Eggleton, the Town Hall doors opened and 60 saxophone playing members of the “Sax Bandits” emerged to take up position in Falaise Square. With conductor Rob Digweed presiding over the performance, the large crowed were treated to performances of festive tracks “Merry Christmas Everyone”, “Santa Tell Me” and “Wonderful Christmas Time”, as well as “All About The Bass” and “Ghostbusters”...
