Big crowd for little voices

Big crowd for little voices

A large crowd of around 160 people crammed into d:two, one of two visits to the Baptist church this year, for the opening of the 7th Advent door. The Henley Youth Choir emerged from the doors to treat the audience to a number of festive classics, including some audience participation in a rousing rendition of ‘Ding Dong Merrily On High’.

Fundraising for the evening was on behalf of Nomad, and after Richard Rodway welcomed everybody, Sue Prior spoke to the audience about the charity.

Richard Rodway presided over the raffle, ably assisted by some children from the audience.

Next up, it’s on to Angel on the Bridge, where they will be partnering with Copas Turkeys once again. So delicious festive nibbles are guaranteed as we fundraise for Riverside Counselling this time.
