Crowds delighted by the talent in Henley's hidden hub of creativity

Crowds delighted by the talent in Henley's hidden hub of creativity

Toby Marlow entertained a crowd of around 150 people at Early Rider for the 16th night of the Living Advent Calendar. Playing his keyboard whilst singing, 20 year old Toby performed a Christmas Medley, renditions of 'Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas' and 'River' before being joined on stage by younger sister Annabel for a fabulous performance of 'Baby It's Cold Outside'.

A fantastic performance culminated in a Buble-esque version of 'Let It Go' from Disney's 'Frozen'. Hosts Early Rider supplied the audience with warm mulled wine, whilst partners Lawlors the Bakers supplied a selection of their festive baked produce.

Keith Douglas from sponsors The Henley Business Partnership and Camp Mohawk, one of the charities supported by the Living Advent, and Phil Chappell of sponsors GPC Marketing. opened proceedings. Chair Richard Rodway was joined on the make-shift stage by festively attired Nicola Taylor of Lawlor's the Bakers. Prizes were donated by Nicola Taylor (a chocie of Christmas cake from the bakery), GPC Marketing (bottle of whiskey) and Paperchase (cookery scrapbook).

Next up, the Living Advent visits the Kenton Theatre at 6:15 p.m. tonight.
