Cool Kids / Spicy Cuisine

Cool Kids / Spicy Cuisine

Over 100 people packed into the Town Hall for night #7 where they were treated to fantastic tasty indian and Nepalese cuisine courtesy of the night’s partner The Happy Gurkha. The audience took their seats, and Richard Rodway then introduced the night’s surprise act Felix & Didi Richardson.

“They are the coolest kids in town, and in 20 years time, just remember, you saw them here tonight” Mr. Rodway announced. The dymanic duo performed a number of hits including a reworking of Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up”. They were joined on stage by friend Jess on base guitar for the latter part of their set. The audience clapped along to “Merry Christmas Everybody” by Slade, and then engaged in some audience participation when the trio performed “Seven Nation Army”.

Richard Rodway was joined on stage by the Happy Gurkha team who helped with a bumper raffle draw for the night’s charity, Headway Thames Valley. It was the most ever raised on a Living Advent night at the Town Hall.

Next up, Phyllis Court for night #8.
