Rupert House give a lesson in song and dance with Steph's Divas & Dudes

Night 14 saw us return to Market Place, for a mass ensemble and extravaganza of song and dance courtesy of Rupert House School Chamber Choir and Dance Club, and Steph’s Dancing Divas & Dudes.

The choir performed first, and sang beautifully in front of the tree in Market Place, ending on ‘Somewhere Only We Know’. They then made way for an energetic and fun dance performance from Steph’s Dancing Diva’s & Dudes, throwing artificial snow up into the air from a bucket, playing inflatable instruments and running round the tree in the process. The Dance Club from Rupert House school then brought the show to an end with a fun routine.

The large crowd were treated to mince pies and sausage rolls by the partner for the evening, The Argyll and the excited children all had a fabulous time, performing amidst the sparkle of the Market Place illuminations, in front of the large audience, including some proud parents.

Richard Rodway then drew the raffle, aided by Mayor Akehurst and youngest son Eddie, with prizes donated by Crowne Plaza, Reading (Spa voucher), Berkshire Mini Centre & Greys Road Farm (Champagne) and the Head Partnership Solicitors (Champagne).

Next up, and night 15 is at Henley College at the Deanfield Road entrance.
