A Full House at the Regal Picturehouse for Night 3

The Living Advent evening at the Regal Picturehouse was a huge success : the 180 seat cinema was totally full, with latecomers not being to find a seat. The audience was treated to a showing of 2 of the films of the four finalists.

Twelve-year old Freddie Fox-Wilson won the overall award from the Henley Standard for his film ‘Winter Hum’, and the film by the Henley Brownies was also shown to a delighted audience. The top films, and those of the remaining finalists are available to see on the Henley Standard website.

So popular was the event that Living Advent Calendar Organiser Julie Perigo, and Regal Picturehouse spokesperson Jane Brian-Boys, announced to the audience that it would be part of the Calendar again next year. And they exhorted the audience to spread the word so that budding film-makers could start gathering real winter footage from now on! A broad range of Christmas canapes were provided by Waitrose, the Partners for the evening, and enjoyed by the visitors.
