The large audience packed into Holy Trinity Church for night #7 were treated to an extended performance, featuring two performers.

First up, the children of Saint Mary’s Prep School made their debut in the event, treating the audience to a festive set, starting with The Holly And The Ivy, and featuring Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer and Silent Night, before a rousing We Wish You A Merry Christmas.

The Rock Choir then took to the stage with an uplifting mix of contemporary classics and festive favourites ranging from Guns’n’Roses’ “Sweet Child Of Mine” via Carol of the Bells, to Stevie Wonder’s “What Christmas Means To Me” and Shakin Steven’s “Merry Christmas Everyone”, with the children of Saint Mary’s lending support bobbing and swaying in the pews to the side of the stage.

The night was kindly sponsored by Kench & Co accountants, who provided some tasty treats, and was a fundraiser for Regatta For The Disabled, and the spirited audience raised a terrific £370.00.
