Ring the bells at the Bull for the Choral Society

Ring the bells at the Bull for the Choral Society

Night 14 saw the Living Advent return to the Bull on Bell Street, where the hosts treated the audience to mulled wine, mince pies and sausage rolls. Partner for the evening, and one of the event sponsors, Philip Booth Esq welcomed the audience and introduced the night’s surprise performer, the Henley Choral Society.

The choir treated the audience to some traditional seasonal favourites and invited some children from the audience to join them for ‘Away In A Manger’.

The Living Advent was working with the Henley Festival Trust on this occasion, who were raising money on the night for Camp Mohawk, and Chris Wilcox from the charity thanked the audience for their donations before presiding over the raffle with Philip Booth and the Living Advent’s Richard Rodway. Prizes included gift packs of beer, a bottle of Moet, a voucher from the Bull on Bell Street, a voucher from the Quince Treet, and Henley Festival 2016 passes.

Next up, and the Living Advent moves on to Henley College, where Pachangas Mexican restaurant will be partnering. Feliz Navidad!
