Shiplake College Sing Like Angels

Shiplake College Sing Like Angels

Night 5 saw the event return to the terrace at the Angel on the Bridge, where the generous hosts providing warm winter Pimms and turkey baps courtesy of the combined efforts and generosity of Copas Turkeys and Lawlors Bakery. Richard Rodway and Mayor Kellie Hinton opened proceedings, with the Mayor’s cause Valley Road Primary receiving monies raised on the night.

Richard Rodway then introduced the Shiplake College Singers who treated the audience to some festive classics including a rousing rendition of 12 Days Of Christmas with some spirited audience participation.

“We are delighted to be able to involve another local institution in the event for the first time, who have brought a wonderful performance to the event showcasing again the talent on our doorstep” said Richard Rodway “and I am delighted that we have raised a record amount for an Angel on the Bridge night, and deservedly so as I think everyone was thoroughly spoilt with the experience tonight!”.

The event now returns to the Kenton for the first time since 2014 for night #6.
