The Audience Were 'Blown Away' by Day 11's Crossfire Hurricanes

Yesterday evening's rather foggy and chilly, but atmospheric Henley Living Advent Calendar took place at the Angel on the Bridge pub, alongside the River Thames. The evening's partner was Copas Turkeys who provided some scrummy turkey rolls with stuffing and cranberry sauce, and a raffle prize of a Christmas bird to feed a family of 7. Our second raffle prize was a goody bag from Boots in Henley. The evening's entertainment was provided by local band Crossfire Hurricanes. Another full house, despite the chilly evening, but the Angel on the Bridge sorted that one, with some warming punch.

Come and find us this evening at the Best of Henley Offices, with nibbles provided by Lawlors Bakery. We'll be there at 6:15pm ready for a new window to open. On Friday the Henley Living Advent Calendar will be going out live on the BBC, and we'll be at The Hub, Station Road, with Fidelity Communications.

Don't forget that the Living Advent Calendar is raising funds for four local charities: Oceans Project, Regatta for the Disabled, Henley Youth Club, and the Poppy Appeal. The event is only possible, thanks to the support of the event's sponsors: CTC-Aspire, Sothebys Henley, Bremont Watches, Towergate Insurance, Best of Henley, and the Head Partnership.
