Trinity Tribute To Carolyn

Trinity Tribute To Carolyn

The audience were delighted to be back in the warm and idyllic surrounds of Holy Trinity Church for night #8.

A big audience packed into the church, and were rewarded with hot chocolate and festive biscuits from the night’s hosts Philip Booth Estate Agents.

The charity being supported on this occasion was Regatta for the Disabled, a cause very dear to the heart of the late Carolyn Molyneux. Carolyn has been a huge part of the Living Advent since the very beginning, hosting famously fun nights at her offices at Delegate House in Hart Street. Philip Booth was one of Carolyn’s client’s and tenants there. Carolyn was so looking forward to the return of the Living Advent and, continuing the theme of a tribute to Carolyn, the night’s surprise performance was delivered by the Rock Choir, with whom Carolyn would have been signing again this year.

The Choir treated the audience to a typically diverse, fun and festive set, with moving festive classics such as “Carol Of The Bells” and “Hallelujah” to up tempo disco barnstormer Earth Wind & Fire’s “Boogie Wonderland”.

We were delighted to raise over £420.00 on the night for Regatta for the Disabled. The most we have ever raised for them. We hope we made Carolyn proud and we feel sure she would have enjoyed the evening.
