Highlights

Around 400 people turned up on the frosty Opening Night to watch Santa Claus (aka Gary Connery, the Queen’s stunt-double for the parachute jump at the Olympics) abseil down the front of the Henley Town Hall and open the first door. The magnificent Shires Royal British Legion Youth Marching Band were our first Surprise Performance of 2012, and entertained with Christmas music as they marched around the brightly lit Christmas Tree in the Town Square. Surprise Celebrity Guests of the evening were Paul Daniels and his wife Debbie McGee . Paul was beautifully modelling the new Living Advent Calendar red beanie hat, which is on sale this year at every performance, along with Raffle tickets, to raise money for our three local charities.
