Highlights

Our largest audience since the First Night on Dec 1st came to enjoy and join in with the carols sung by the 45-strong Shiplake Community Choir. Well over 150 people gathered on the lawns of the world famous Leander Club, on the banks of the Thames, and enjoyed the hospitality of the Club in the form of hot Winter Pimms, Brakspear’s Christmas Beer ‘O Be Joyful’ (called ‘Row be Joyful’ for the evening, in honour of Leander) plus mince pies and cupcakes from Confetti & Spice.

The Living Advent Calendar continues to attract visitors from outside Henley, as well as local residents. Over the last few days our Living Advent Team has come across fans coming from as far away as Torquay and Bournemouth, London…. And Reading!
