Highlights

Well over 100 Henley residents and visitors came to watch as Keith and Val Jefferies were spotlighted in the upstairs windows of The Kings Arms Barn. The beautiful old building was a perfect setting for the gentle Christmas songs and the Christmas Angel story which Val read aloud. COOK and Spirited Wines, the evening’s Partners, added to the audiences’ Christmas spirit with platters of cheese, pate and crackers and warming French wines.

And, on the 17^th evening of the second Henley Living Advent Calendar we topped the £3000 mark, through donations and sales of raffle tickets and special red beanie hats. We are hoping that as Christmas draws nearer, the generosity of those watching will increase too…. And we can reach £4000 to split between our three charities: Sue ryder Care, Camp Mohawk and The Chilterns Centre.
