There was not one but THREE Surprises for the large audience gathered at the Delegate Office Services building on Dec 20th. The first was the fabulous singing and jaunty personality of Berlin Cabaret-style artist ‘Baroness Maria von Hackeman'.
She entertained the audience with several well-known 30's songs including "Lili Marlene" and "Falling in Love again". She then completed her set with "Let it Snow" – illustrated by the second surprise of the night : a snow machine dropping flurries of seasonal snowflakes on everyone's head!
The third surprise was a visit by Father Christmas with sweeties for the children, which they enjoyed as the adults nibbled on pigs in blankets, sausage rolls and mince pies and a continuous flow of mulled wine and mulled cider. Many thanks to the hospitality of Delegate and to their Partner for the night, The Best of Henley.
