Who ya gonna call?? Sax Bandits!

Who ya gonna call?? Sax Bandits!

After an intro from cavalier attired councillor David Eggleton, the Town Hall doors opened and 60 saxophone playing members of the “Sax Bandits” emerged to take up position in Falaise Square. With conductor Rob Digweed presiding over the performance, the large crowed were treated to performances of festive tracks “Merry Christmas Everyone” by Shakin Stevens, “Santa Tell Me” by Ariane Grande and “Wonderful Christmas Time” by Paul McCartney, as well as Meghan Trainor’s “All About The Bass” and Ray Parker Junior’s “Ghostbusters”,

The audience were treated to spiced festive punch from hosts Henley Scan, together with festive cinnamon cake and ginger biscuits. Some great raffle prizes, including a necklace donated by David Roger-Sharp that was auctioned off, meant that a bumper amount was raised for the night’s charity, Royal British Legion. It was the most that had ever been raised on a Living Advent night
