Night #7 saw the event visit it’s third new venue this year, in the courtyard at The Catherine Wheel on Hart Street.

In very cold conditions, a spirited audience congregated, giving generously to the night’s charity Headway Thames Valley and being treated to complimentary pizza by our hosts.

The night’s surprise performers were habitual fun Living Advent favourites the Yoko Mainwairing Experience, led by Martyn Cooper...

Night #6 was a cold one in the idyllic picture postcard setting of the terrace at the Angel on the Bridge pub, rather fittingly in aid of Riverside Counselling.

The audience were treated to warm winter Pimms from the hosts for the evening, and Copas Turkeys had kindly supplied some delicious turkey meat for some baps...

The 5th night of this year’s event took place in the Courtyard at Hotel du Vin. The generous hosts served the audience warming mulled wine in very cold conditions, as well as delicious festive cake.

The night was a fundraiser for Henley Talking Newspaper and Richard Hodgkin addressed the audience about the charity before Richard Rodway introduced the night’s surprise performer. He said that he has commented about this year’s line up being a Living Advent “greatest hits”, that his very first contribution to the event was this performer back on the opening night in 2014, and how he was delighted to welcome him back again, Marc Hockley (aka Robbing Williams)...
